The HOCATT™ Session Experience

During a HOCATT™ session, clients experience a coordinated sequence of therapies:

1. Preparation

   The client relaxes on an adjustable seat inside the HOCATT™ chamber, with the chamber doors closed to cover the body while the head remains outside. A neck cape is used to enhance comfort and retain the steam chamber contents.

2. Oxygen Infusion

   During the session, pure, humidified oxygen is delivered through a specialized jet to the nose and mouth, increasing oxygen saturation in the body.

3. Heating and Activation

   Steam and Far Infrared Rays (FIR) are used to heat the body. The HOCATT™ features FIR pads at the foot area and a large FIR pad behind the back to ensure thorough heating.

4. Carbonic Acid Formation

   At the beginning of the session, CO2 is introduced to react with the steam and create Carbonic Acid. This compound naturally enhances oxygen uptake and delivery at the cellular level (known as the Bohr Effect) without side effects.

5. Activated Oxygen Cycle

   Following the CO2 cycle, the activated oxygen cycle begins and continues throughout the session. The activated oxygen reacts with the steam, forming wellness products on the skin’s surface. The pre-cycle with CO2 significantly enhances the effectiveness of this cycle compared to other wellness saunas.

6. Micro-Currents

   Special Micro-Currents can be applied to stimulate the body through the hands and/or feet. This feature is available during the HOCATT™ session or as a standalone treatment, with over 100 pre-programmed frequencies to choose from.

7. High-Intensity PEMFs

   For those with the Platinum package, High-Intensity Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Fields (PEMFs) can be incorporated into the session. The HOCATT™ PEMF model includes coils in the chamber walls that connect to a HUGO™ High-Intensity PEMF driver.

8. Essential Oils

   Essential oils can be added to a special compartment within the steam jet, infusing them into the steam for a transdermal application. Alternatively, dried aromatic plant leaves can be used.

9. Color Light Therapy

   The chamber is illuminated with full-spectrum color light. Two color stars change colors randomly, providing a range of soothing, balancing, and energizing hues.

10. Steam Extraction

    At the end of each session, the steam is extracted into a large-volume activated carbon charcoal destructor, preventing the release of steam into the room when the chamber doors are opened.
